What is Microdosed Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is not a marathon, it's a way of being present with what is. With our practice we can change how we interact with the world and ourselves.
Mindfulness starts with practice
The idea of making mindfulness more approachable for the uninitiated is something that’s been in the back of my head for FOREVER. About 3 years ago I promised to write a book about it, but somehow it just didn’t seem right. The whole point of Mcrodosed Mindfulness® is to make the micro-practices I’ve adopted and cherished over the years something approachable and doable. These simple practices changed my life in so many ways. But when people say “Oh, yeah, mindfulness, it slows you down”, or “Mindfulness? I don’t have time for that”, I wanna shout NONSENSE!
Anyone can learn simple practices and start on the way to a happier, healthier way of being.
Why are you here?
If you’ve stumbled upon this page, chances are you’ve heard about mindfulness, maybe even tried it a time or two, but felt like it just didn’t fit into your life. Or maybe you think it’s only for monks and people who have hours to sit in silence. Well, I’m here to tell you – that’s nonsense.
Mindfulness isn’t just for the ultra-calm or the perfectly balanced. It’s for everyone, and I mean everyone. I’m not here to turn you into a monk or a master meditator. I’m here to show you that tiny, micro-moments of mindfulness can fit into even the busiest of lives. When you see the ripple effect on those around you from a moment of kindness or awareness, you’ll see.
Why I’m here
Because I’ve been in the trenches, after 25+ years in digital marketing and tech, I know how easy it is to lose touch with what really matters. That’s why I’m passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves and find genuine fulfillment without needing to rearrange their entire lives.
Here, you’ll find micro-posts, reflections, videos, podcasts, and meditations – most of them as small, practical steps I’ve discovered on my journey, inspired by my teachers and, honestly, some of the best lessons I’ve learned from my students.
So, if you’ve ever thought, “Mindfulness? I don’t have time for that,” I get it. I’ve been there. But trust me, those tiny, micro-moments add up. They build resilience, spark joy, and bring you back to what really matters.
Let’s micro this stuff and cause some ripples, shall we?
“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the water to create many ripples.” – Mother Teresa.
This is such a brilliant idea! Microdosed mindfulness!!! YES!!!
