Showing Up For Yourself When It’s Hard
What would it mean to show up for yourself today with a steady willingness to be kind and present for yourself?
If you’re used to doing it all, shouldering the weight of everyone else’s needs, it can feel odd to offer support and care toward yourself. But what if you gave yourself the same understanding you offer others—the same patience, the same encouragement?
What if you let yourself rest without guilt, celebrate small wins, or simply pause to ask, “What do I need right now?” Showing up for yourself isn’t selfish. It’s a way of charging your batteries, ensuring you have energy to give.
Thank you Janet. Needed this. Been a caregiving some bullies way too much. 🙏
